Pronar RWO bag opener

The PRONAR RWO bag opener is an efficient and energy-saving device dedicated to the pre-processing of waste streams. It was designed to efficiently open plastic bags containing municipal waste, recyclable materials, waste paper, bio-waste, and packaging waste. Thanks to specialized tearing arms and a robust drum, the machine effectively separates the bag contents from their packaging without shredding the material.

The device’s design consists of two main modules: a feed hopper and a opening module. The hydraulically controlled, segmented hopper floor moves the material towards the drum. The tearing drive activates the drum with teeth and the lifting arms that tear the bags. The machine is equipped with an automatic reverse system in the event of an overload and a complete safety system that prevents access to the work areas during operation. The control panel is located at the rear of the device.

The entire structure has been protected against corrosion by sandblasting and two-layer painting. The machine can be supplied with a discharge feeder, which facilitates further material transport to the next stages of the processing line. The feeder speed can be continuously adjusted using an inverter.
